海外旅行に行って英会話が出来ると旅行が楽しくなります。英語圏ばかりではないけれど、 フランス語もイタリア語も似ている単語があるし、少しでも会話ができると外国人とコミュニケーションがとれます。街の中の広告とか、お店の看板を読むことができると、街を歩く時でも迷わずに済みますし、行動範囲も広がります。

  17. Hiromi

I think I like the part of TOEIC vocabulary quiz best. I would like to get to speak in English. It is very important to learn grammar to speak precisely.
TOEIC vocabulary quiz is very useful for that.
  18. Hiromi

Voices–generally is defined as sound, and as such is a concrete noun.

I didn’t understand this. I think “voices” is a abstract noun because it is not able to be touched, either seen.
  19. Glen Charles Rowell

If a sound can be heard and it is made of vibrations moving through air particles, then it is a concrete noun. Also remember that sometimes you can feel sound produced by speakers with your hands or body.

If the voice you are referring to is imagined or not real, then it would be considered as an abstract noun though.

    soundwaves

When the compression and rarefactions of the sound waves strike the eardrum, they result in the sensation of sound.

  20. Glen Charles Rowell

Thank you. I will be making more of these practice TOEIC tests soon. I just need to update the database this weekend.
  21. Hiromi

There were two words which I have not encountered before. They were reticent and conversant. This quiz no2 was a little challenging for me. Thank you.
